‘Innovation Design Award’ Assessment (10 July – 12 August)
Select 3 entries from each topic for the ‘Innovation Design Award’ (approximately 150 entries). Each entry will earn a reward between 3000RMB – 30000RMB (approx. USD$484- 4840 / €349 – €3490) with the possibility of getting other forms of rewards such as internship, start-up mentoring and visits.
‘Incubation Programme’ Assessment and Workshop (20 August – 20 September)
Selecting 24 finalist entries for incubation from the 150 entries selected in the preliminary assessment. The committee will provide ‘start up mentoring’, money for model making and patent applications.
Final Submission (20 September)
Finalists submit final models for digital prototypes for assessment.
Final Adjudication and Award Ceremony (8 October – 10 October)
Judging and commenting of the final 24 entries.
Post competition promotions of achievements, including publishing of works, patent applications for winners, product conversion, media publishing and relevant exhibition promotions and follow up on start up stories.
