Registration

Rules:
· The "Open group" entries should select an appropriate group and complete conceptual design based on the content of the contest; the "Enterprise Group" entries should be developed between 2009-2010 and have been put into the product market by the enterprise.
· Design concepts are presented to the jury in A2 (594mm×420mm) sized presentations, JPEG format, 150dpi; Not more than 3 pages, including theme, rendering of the product design, necessary structural charts, basic appearance size and Chinese (English) descriptions. Finalist and outstanding entries will be requested more precise information.
· The "Enterprise group" participants are required to provide real object, not more than 1.5 m3. If the size is more than 1.5 m3, they can provide product models or videos displaying the products and their features. The file format of the video should be .AVI or .mpg on a DVD disc. The "Enterprise group" participants are also required to provide 3-5 photos (A4, performance overall and detailed characteristics), Chinese (English) descriptions, the patent license, or have the corresponding intellectual property rights and legally binding documents, the relevant proof that the products have been put into production.
· Individual and teams with no more than six members are welcomed to participate in the “Open Group”. There is no limitation on the number of team members for the “Enterprise Group”.
· Student participants compete on the same terms and are eligible for the same ancillary benefits and protection as the professional competitors. Student competitors are advised to have obtained the prior agreement of their department to participate.
· In order to ensure the fairness of the "LotusPrize", the names of the entrants and other individual information such as icons and figures related to entrants identities mustn't be written on the page. The design shall be numbered by the Moderator in
order of receipt and prior to the day of submission of the entry to the jury in the competition.
· Participants could submit a written application to the organizing committee for canceling your own registered entry before re-evaluation on Dec. 1st, 2010. Pay attention that we can not undertake to return manuscripts except for objects,
please make copies for yourself. If you want to take back objects after exhibition，please make special indication when you sign up on the web. The cost of freight will be paid by yourself.

Intellectual Property rights and Promotion:
All the entries of the "Open group" need to meet the content and scope of the theme of this competition, and must be original designs by the entrants, which haven't yet been published in any newspapers, periodicals, magazines or on any websites or other medias, and haven't taken part in any other competitions. The competitors must ensure the full intellectual property rights of their works without infringing any previous intellectual property rights. If plagiarism or tort are found in
the qualified or award-winning works, the organizer will cancel the entrants’rights of qualifying and awarding, and take back the bonus awards, certificates and publish its action of tort in related media. For all the winning entries in the "Open group", receiving the award means the related intellectual property rights of the winning entries entirely belong to the organizers or related support businesses, including but not limited to, the copying, distribution, display and interpretation of such rights, whilst the organizers need not pay these fees to the winners. The award-winners retain the authorship of their works.

Participants are required to truthfully fill out a detailed registration form. The organizing committee will reply after receiving it.

separately with the same subject if it is more than 10M.

1. Participating Article(called “Article” hereunder) as submitted by me, is the Original Article as designed and developed by me, and does not have received an award in any other competition at the time that they are entered for the 2010 Lotus Awards.
2. If the Article as submitted by me involved in any kind of Act of Infringement of Intellectual Rights as held by Others (including but not limited to copying, thief, modification of others’ Article etc), I shall be responsible for all economic and legal consequences.
3. I hereby agree, my Article once submitted, the Organizers of 2010 Lotus Prize can use the Article in promotional activities at no cost, including but not limited, through Reproduction, Exhibition and Show, Broadcast, Publication and through Internet to communicate General Public etc.
This Undertaking and Declaration will be effective immediately upon execution by me and will be irrevocable.
