Hosted by Guangming Daily, Hunan University, CBN, co hosted by Hunan Taskin Investment Co. Ltd, CBN ‘Chinese Real Estate Finance’ and Agricultural Bank of China (Hunan) Investment Management Co. Ltd, The Third Central China Financial Centre Forum was held at Changsha Longchamp Garden Hotel on 8 July 2014. The organizer of the 4th ‘LotusPrize’ International Industrial Design and Innovation Competition – Dean of Hunan University School of Design, also Chairman of Hunan Industrial Design Association Prof. He Renke also attended the forum, adding a touch of design and culture to the ‘Finance and Cultural Driven Cities of Central China’ themed financial forum.
During the ‘Third Central China Financial Centre Forum’, Prof. He Renke gave speeches and inaugurated the ‘Asia Pacific Innovation Design Center’ representing Hunan Innovation Platform for Industrial Design along with other design giants - Polytechnic University of Milan, Hongik University, Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A, China Italy Industrial Design Co. Ltd and TechNode.
After the opening ceremony, Prof. He Renke hosted the ‘Industrial Design and Entertainment Culture Driven Central China Industry Upgrade’ round table talk with former Dean of Hongik University School of Design Prof. Yang Young-Wan, President of Eliot Holdings Mr. Park Soon-Pong, Senior designer of Polytechnic University of Milan Mr. Luigi Boselli, CEO of Juooo Mr. Di Jun, Former Secretary and Director of the Hunan Press and Publication Bureau Mr. Zhou Yongjin and Asia’s Best Angel Investor and President of Buttonwood Capital Mr. Deng Gang.
Prof. He Renke stated that Hunan has a rich source of innovative cultural design and at the same time, have a lot of international collaborations. The ‘LotusPrize’ International Industrial Design and Innovation Competition have successfully ended its submission date on 7 July. As a core collaborating company of the competition, Taskin City has given two topics ‘Taskin City Square Community Public Facility (System) and Service System Design’ and ‘Future City and Social Innovation Design’. The two topics given by Taskin City has attracted many designer’s attention and received over 200 tailored entries for Taskin City.
