After graduating at Jiangnang University in Industrial Design in 1996, he started to work for Haier for 15 years with 10 years being Haier’s Design Director, 5 years being Haier Technology Centre Manager (Dean of Haier Central Research Centre) and Haier Digital Group International Sales Director for 2 years.

He has lead world class construction projects for new industrial design innovation system, research system and digital family industry etc. Had lead 3 international standards, 7 major national projects, owning 130 patents, winning 10 international industrial design competitions and the first Chinese designer winning all four major international competitions (Idea, Red Dot, iF and Gmark).

In 2011, he has became the Vice Chairman and Secretary of China Industrial Design Association and is the visiting professor and senior lecturer of Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University and Nanchang University.
