Ralph has more than 20 years experience in the organisation of international and global leading tradeshows like Hannover Fair and others in Germany and overseas. Aside from exhibitions and tradeshows, he participated in the organisation of many conferences, political events and industry-specific meetings, many of them in cooperation with associations, institutions, governments and other bodies. Along with the many tradeshows, he has extensive experience in different industries like robotics, industrial automation, biotechnology, energy efficiency, woodworking machinery, education and more.

Since 1995, Ralph is the CEO of iF, the oldest independent design institution worldwide. Best known for the iF design awards, the company is involved in many areas, play active roles in international networks, support their target industries and the designers of all disciplines. iF also invests in supporting design students. Besides Icsid and Icograda memberships and involvement at conferences, his personal experience includes the organisation of the Icsid Congress 2003 in Hannover and Berlin.
